AND upon the further condition that all moneys received from the sale thereof, shall, after deducting the usual proportion for expenses of management, be placed to our credit and the Interest thereon paid to us and our descendants annually or semi- annually as to the Department of Indian Affairs may seem best in our interest. AND WE, the said Chief and Principal men of the said Michipicoten Band of Indians do on behalf of our people and for ourselves, hereby ratify and confirm, and promise to ratify and confirm, whatever the said Government may do, or cause to be lawfully done, in connection with the sale of the said lands and the disposal of the moneys arising therefrom.
