122 the Oneidas of the Thames, say : We were personally present on the 18th day of August, A.D. 1882, at a meeting of council held on the Oneida Indian Reserve, whieh meeting was summoned acording to the rules of said Band, for the purpose of taking into consideration the advisability of granting liberty to Mr. A. C. Stone and others to shoot on the said reserve. We also state that the unanimous consent of the Band was granted to the above named A. C. Stone and others to shoot on the said reserve, as stated in the copy of the resolution passed and conditions made to which this affidavit is attached.
